Electrical Appliance Safety
Electrical appliances produced and distributed at home and abroad must undergo essential tests and certifications before distribution. It is divided into safety certification, safety confirmation, and supplier's conformity according to product ratings and universality.
As international trade conditions have improved, such as the integration and globalization of regional and national markets and the expansion of FTAs, the distribution of low-priced, illegal and defective products and new products whose safety has not been verified is increasing.
Accordingly, developed countries such as the US and EU are strengthening safety management of imported consumer products to ensure consumer safety, and in particular, they require a high level of safety for products used by safety vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.

'Safety Verification' is slightly different from 'Safety Certification'. It is not as much as 'Safety Certification', but products that are common in everyday life and products with a degree of risk are subject to 'Safety Confirmation'.
